Where the line errs
Del Bosque calls Argentina uncomfortable and awkward; Capello points precisely at their accumulated expenditure. Both are right, which is why this is a bet on Spain to win, not to stroll — the Asian handicap asks too much of a side that has never once surrendered.
Messi can decide an episode alone, and Lautaro off the bench against a tiring defence is a genuine threat. But the fresher, better-drilled, better-functioning team should not be priced like a coin toss, and at these odds the fresher team is the play.
